According to La Voz de Galicia: Taborda punched a reporter in today's training and this reporter went to the police. $5 that it was one from La Voz

PD: Confirmed, it was a reporter from Deporte Campeón.

Be careful Rik, my sources tell me that Taborda likes very much to read the Internet. So, he could be reading this post right now. When is your next travel to La Coruña?

He punched armando palleiro in the upper body, then threatened to kill him, headbutted him, punched him again on the lip, then shoved him against a wall. The guy will sue, and hopefully this is a chance to get rid of him, or at least fine him for a month, the useless piece of.... in fact better not say anything, in case i'm next on his list lol.

What a bell end. Footballers always get criticised, its in the t's and c's in is contract. Taborda should especially get criticised since he's useless and gets injured everytime he walks.

Great publicity for our struggling club. GET RID OF HIM

Woah, he did that?

That just made my respect of him drop to the floor, and probably also through the floor down to the basement.

if I player hits a reporter it's always because the reporter ask rude questions.
If a reporter wants to interview a person it doesn't mean that he can loose the respect against the interviewed person just because he is a football player.

Sharpening reporters this has happened before!! keep your questions to sporting aspects damn!!!

I hate when you picture the reporter as a victim when this happens, because the polemic which starts this circus is when the reporter sees an environment who the footballer is a victim of publicity.

( but this post don't mean that I think Taborda is a good football player )

We don't know what the reporter asked, but yeah, reporters do often cross the line when it comes to rude questions. We don't know what the reporter said, but he could impossibly have said something that gave Taborda the right punch his upper body, threat him to death, headbutt him and punch him twice again. That is violence and he could go to jail for that. Now don't tell me Taborda is the victim.

If he can't take being asked rude questions he should never have started his professional career. He should have reacted by telling the reporter to shut up, or just ignore him and leave. Using violence is the worst thing you can do, especially if you're a "famous" guy.

Perhaps he is trying to become the next Djalminha of the club... what an impossible task for a man of his size?

Taborda has defended himself saying that he didn't hit the reporter. The funny thing is that Taborda himself made an appointment with this reporter, apparently because he was writing harsh things about him. Did he made an appointment just to hit him?

You will read more in tomorrow's news... and also in WWF.com, ha! a nice match for Wrestelmania

Hahah I love the guy. LATIN PASSION PLEASE!
Ok maybe he crossed a line, but that journalist wasnt very friendly too. I can understand that Taborda is frustrated and reacted a bit agressive. Still not sure that he did hit him?

Well lets see what happens, hopefully Taborda will score a few headers now
