well, Zé is 183, Aythami is 185, Colotto is 184, Marchena is 183 and Alex B. is 177.

my other question was for the guidance of a GREAT coach. how did you mean it, Sultan?

I got the heights from players profiles on this website, so I don't know which source is more reliable mine or yours .. but from what I see with my own eyes he's tall enough ..

About the great coach comment, I was hinting of a new coach coming after Oltra and helping in his development as a player, there is still room for improvement, actually to me this is the most important task of any coach!

With Oltra, we see repeated errors, so I don't know if hes doing any work with the players on the personal level!

I bealive that he is great as a DM - he plays in the role that Mauro Silva used to. Oltra should instruct him to stay behind as he likes to attack with the full-backs.

But he definatly needs more support at the defensive tasks as he needs to be in charge with only one part of the midfield. At the moment he is practically covering the whole, while JD is strolling around like he is the playmaker.

I hope that Alex is paired with Aguilar (or Santos) and that they both activily protect our defense from danger. JD isn't in form and in my opinion he could be better used as alternative for Valeron.

Spot on Iztok.

In fact, imo this goes to the root of everything that's wrong with the team (defensively) atm. Our full backs and all of our midfield are flooding forward to attack and nobody is 'minding the house'.

25 YEARS WITH “O NENO”

It's funny I was thinking about Fran before reading this article, I believe that if Alex keeps this pace he will be the successor of Fran.

I salut him and Laure for the spirit they show on the pitch!

I think he's happier when he's allowed to push forward a little more and put the opposition under pressure inside their own half. Seems that's what Domingos has asked him to do and it's working for him. Something similar to that guy Iturra for Malaga's first goal last night - he kept flying forward to pressure on whoever received the ball from Pinto and it unsettled Barca's rhythm and cost them the opening goal.

It was Thiago, a segunda guy.
