He can't be more unfit than Marlos, can he?
Huge game. 3 points and we've had an acceptable week. Anything less and the knives will be out for the coach.
Need to see Andone open his account here.

I don't think Marlos is lacking fitness.. I felt that he is just eager to show his skills and needs to play regularly as a substitute to get used to the higher and different league..

for me Marlos seems physically fit, but simply too thin. right now I can't imagine how he could play in the rugby league

3 points are absolutely necessary in this game.

I would honestly be surprised to see Babel in the list if last week he wasn't match fit, but the press is saying he might go to come off the bench in the second half.

The team is playing fantastic defensively, but horrible offensively although we are one of the better teams in terms of posession. It seems like we're missing that reliable spark in attack Lucas was responsible for. Andone has improved with each game and I think our Top 3 of Marlos-Fajr-Andone-Gama need more minutes to start getting in sync.

Although we have another game on Sunday, I think we should put out our best 11 for this game. Playing at home against a recently promoted team is a must-win. On Sunday in Madrid against Atletico, we are not going to have much of a chance. I would wait for Sunday to do rotations IMO.

My starting 11:

-------------------Lux
Juanfran---Albentosa--Arribas-----Luisinho
---------Mosquera----Alex----
Gama------------Fajr-----------Gil
----------------Andone

Following on from the post match Alaves thread. Just wanted to say that at this stage, I'd rather we be strong at the back and remain hard to beat.
I know there is room for improvement offensively, but hopefully this will soon improve. The likes of Coblak, Valle, Gill, Babel and Joselu (when he returns) will all have their opportunities at some stage to provide Andone with the service he requires.

Big game for us where we need the 3 points.

I like, but would maybe play Coblak instead of Fajr.

I think it is crucial to put Fajr in the playmaker role. Marlos, Gama, Colak, Babel, Gil, Valle can all play on the sides, but if we want to utilize Fajr he needs to play in the center behind Andone, maybe the striker will finally get some service and also helpful for the guys like Moreno not to control the ball for too long. Marlos can run, dribble, shoot, but in no way can he organize the offense.

If Fajr fails, we have Colak and Gil to fight for the spot. Playing 4-4-2 without any real pressure on the center backs and having nobody to organize the last passes is nonsense.

I strongly agree here. This is a game to win; the coach can make rotations for the game against Atletico.

Xose, is there any talk locally about Alex? He's not in the squad again for tomorrow night.

You said in the previous thread that you are wondering why our sides are the ones supplying offensive passes to the attack, i will ansewr you here

Oneif the main tactics (if i even call it one) of gritano is to run on the sides and cross the ball into rivals box, clearly neither Mosquera nor Borges can do thst cause the will leave spaces which gritano see as problem for his defending tactic

Concerning Alex, a lot might disagree with me, do we see Mosquera talking to the players encouraging them etc in one of the previous games, No

We Need Alex to be a start, this guy would give his all to the team plus we saw him inprevious season he developed a lot

I would like to see Colak as playmaker. Perhaps moving Fajr back to join Mosquera at midfield..
