well from zapping he's traveling to Coruna. So guys, live with it :d
I hope he proves all of you wrong and his signing turns out to be a good thing for Depor, that's all I care about.

From the minute he wears that blue and white shirt for the first time he gets a fresh start from me. More than anything I'm just glad we'll have a proven defender in our team, otherwise I would have seen us as relegation candidate number one.

exactly...he has about 300 matches in primera...i hope hi will return his form as before in valencia and to be a good leader for our defense
now we have 4 CB with different profiles - young and tall Roderick, injury proned Ze Castro, unstable Aythami and veteran Marchena

Oltra better start introducing long tactical sessions of 10 v 11 players with this guy in our team. I predict a red card inside his first three games with us. Philip's post summed it all up for me too. I'd rather have stuck with Rochela. What must he (Rochela) be thinking now?

I'm trying really hard to tweak my brain into this frame of mind. I suspect it might take a while.

The nightmare is real! Depor has officially confirmed the signing.

He will be presented tomorrow... if he is able to pass the medicals first

Seriously, I like the signing. The question is he's fit enough after not playing too much on the past season

Wow, Carlos! You like the signing? I'm a little concerned that he's not going to be able to perform, either because of injury or his advanced age.
Like others have noted here, I definitely don't mind the experience and authority he brings. Maybe he can teach Aythami how to defend.

Team is far more important than any one player, so I hope we do well and survive next year despite him but I can honestly say that I've never felt so bad about any signing we've made in the past.

Very disappointed but hope he is a positive influence for the team.
