I'm afraid this guy won't be around too much. He is a heck of a player and Depor board will receive offers soon.

Well, sadly, I agree with you. But at least he has a contract till 2017, so he won't leave for free, like a lot of players in the past have.

He's been superb, we cant really ask anymore from him at present.
I hope he is with us for many years to come, and if we do one day sell, it must be for many million euros!

It's not if, but when. And it's how much do we get. I'd at least like to see him stay for another season after this one, but if we don't promote...........

Top candidate for player of the season this year.

Going to be tough because he is a homegrown player and you can tell that he does love the club and gets along well with the next generation of players (Lemos, Iglesias, Bicho). I don't see him leaving this year, promotion or not, but if nothing is done next summer to improve the team, he will be gone for 2015. Have to remember that he has capped at the U19 and U20 levels so he's always had this potential.

06/Oct/2013: 13h40: Deportivo: Pablo Insua has been picked by Spain's U-21 squad. for the games Vs. Bosnia & Hungary. He's replacing injured Sergi Gómez. Insua will miss next match against Barcelona B for this reason.

Good news for the player, but bad news for us, as we lose our best defender for next match.

He deserves to be called in the U21. He really is a stable and well placed CB. Also he seems to have characteristic of great defenders, I just hope we don't lose him too early.

Pablo Insua will have a Peña Deportivista in Arzúa, his native village (also mine). The inauguration was planned for tomorrow, Thursday 24/oct, but due to the travel to Tenerife early in the morning of friday, the act has been postponed to next week, Wednesday 30/oct.

He's lucy to have Marchena and Lopo for this season and maybe next season, he should capitalize on that if he cares about his development!
