Default Copa | Depor v Levante | Dec 13 | pre-match comments

Depor Vs. Levante this Tuesday for Copa Del Rey.

Interesting to see Deportivo against a rival that's currently at the Champions League places.

Very tough game and I think we might consider giving up this game

I don't know. If Levante get lofty ideas about their current status and attack us from the start, I think our counter attacks can do them damage. And if they make several changes to their starting line-up, then I think there's a chance that we could have a two goal advantage after tomorrow's game. Anyway, we have nothing to lose, so let's just enjoy the game without reading too much into it.

Deportivo: The coach of Levante, Juan Ignacio Martinez, said yesterday that he will use substitutes in the Copa clash with Deportivo.

We have some hope to win. Big win in Riazor and draw in away would be good.

Anyway who could be our next opponent?

Deportivo: Picked players for the Copa clash with UD Levante: Aranzubia, Lux; Laure, Manuel Pablo, Colotto, Rochela, Aythami, Seoane; Borja Fernández, Jesús Vázquez, Juan Carlos, Valerón, Saúl, Salomão, Pablo Álvarez; Riki, Bodipo and Lassad.

No Guardado, B.Gama, Ze Castro, JD.... we are playing with subs 2...

anyway i still think we should not worry about Copa & just focus on our main target this season with is promotion to Primera.

Its time to measure ourselves against a team from Primera. I've got a funny feeling about this game. This could be the turning point for our season. If we go through our confidence will rocket.

Something unrelated i'd thought i'd share this link.

Looking forward to seeing Lux, Saul, Pablo Alvarez getting some minutes, otherwise they're totally ignored in league games.

I'd like to see Solomao, Juan Carlos and Seoane (right back) starters for this match.

Me too, and it could be.

Oltra gives rest to some of our best players: Juan Dominguez, Alex Bergantiños, Guardado, B. Gama, Ze Castro and ... of course Ayoze.

I'd like to see:
______________ Lux
Seoane _ Rochela _ Aythami _ M.Pablo
_________ Borja ___J.Vazquez
Saul _______ Juan Carlos ___ Salomao
______________ Riki

I agree with what others have said: not too worried about the outcome of this game, which is most interesting to see how we match up to a Primera side.
