Getting him on loan is a huge coup in itself but I'd be extremely surprised if he make the move permanent in the summer.

I'm sure Pompey might want to but by then D'Allesandro would have seen how crap they are and he would have shown his worth in the EPL to a wider audience.

This guy would fit in in our squad perfectly. I'm really sad that Leondiro didn't try to sign him.

The fact that he went to Portsmouth doesn't show it was realistic that this player with no work ethic could have come here. Portsmouth is a very rich club with a new Russian owner. I hope they have fun with him, for all their money.

the russian owns 50% of the club Mandaric owns the other 50%, and they arent such sugar daddys as abramovich but a bit more realistic

I agree. He will be out of there when Pompey goes down.

I heard the purchase option in the contract is for 8 mill.... after the world cup when Andrade and perhaps Duscher are sold, and the salaries of Cesar and Victor gone we can afford him, no?

hehe i think we will need to drop 10M on a new central defender, that should be the priority when andrade goes, and get a new dm, i hope we can get that chilean at cruziero, maldolano or what is his name

Maldonado*, and I don't think Lendoiro would spend that much on a new central defender if he were to sell Andrade in the summer, Colo and Juanma wouldn't be too bad in the back. My guess is he's buy a young unheard of defender with much potential for around 5 mill. We Mainly need a a great Mid to lead the next Depor. Djalminha->Valeron-> ???. D'Alessandro would be a great fit. My guess is Lendoiro would spend most of the transfer money for debt and the rest on an AMC and a Winger.
