Default Ex-Player topic: Borja Fernandez (born in 1981, midfielder)

Name: Francisco de Borja Fernández Fernández
Birthdate: January 14th, 1981
Birthplace: Ourense
Height: 1.88 m
Career: 2000–2001 Real Madrid C, 2001–2003 Real Madrid B, 2003–2006 Real Madrid, 2005–2006 → Mallorca (loan), 2006–2010 Valladolid, 2010– 2011 Getafe 13

It seems we are about to sign this guy; he would come as the replacement of Ruben Pérez. The exact terms aren't known yet.

Well Carlos doesn't rate Ruben, but he rates this guy even less! I agree with the second part but not the first.

This is a farcical operation and one that doesn't surprise me in the least.

Lendo, stop messing around with these type of players and get us some young-ish guys with heart who are hungry to make a name for themslves. We have enough experience in the squad already with Dani, Manny, Colotto, Ayoze, Vasquez, Riki, Alvarez and Valeron - we don't need any more.

If he (Borja) has failed the medicals, then that should be the end of the operations with Getafe and Ruben told that he must stay with us - at least until the winter transfer window.

Thank God .. his career says he has nothing to offer .. maybe we can get Masquera for good for the exchange of Ruben.

I agree. We should let the youth have the chance for football.
