It seems like we will receive around 90,000 euros as part of the formation rights..

I don't think they paid too much for Mustafi. It's a lot of money, yes, but nowadays €40M is quite fair for a German international defender, World Cup winner, experienced, and only 24 years old. If Mustafi plays at good level, they could sell him for that value or even more. By comparison, this summer Man United paid €40M to Villarreal for a much more inexperienced defender, Eric Bailly.

What I find more crazy/weird is why Wenger/Arsenal didn't try to sign Alcácer instead of our Lucas. Specially when they were already negotiating with Valencia for Mustafi... Alcácer officially moved today to FC Barcelona for "only" €30M, not a bad price for a 23 years old forward, who's been international several times and with more experience/years at the top level than our Lucas. Furthermore I think Alcácer would suit perfect to Arsenal style, and could be a great number 9 for them. And if he did well in England, they could sell him for 2 or 3 times that price in a few years. Unfortunately they decided for our Lucas, €10M cheaper, but with only 1 good season at the highest level, never went to the National Team, and 28 years old. Besides, Lucas has only played as a number 9 this last season. Not very sure if he'll be playing there as a forward or as a winger, but even if Lucas does well, considering his age, it's difficult to see Arsenal making some profit with him.

No doubt, if I were Arsene Wenger I would have paid those €10M more and would have signed Alcácer instead of Lucas. And now everybody would be very happy, Depor fans with Lucas staying, and Arsenal fans with Alcácer on their side, who is a much better known player for them.

Aleksandar Katai, who has been linked with Celta and Depor, has finally signed for Alavés...

La liga signed a few Saudi Arabia players and are distributing them at various teams...If they are to sign a few Brazilians as well, we have to stand at the queue

That the players are going to the clubs for free, on the expenses of la liga. Of course la liga didn't pay from own pocket, this is a part of a deal/sponsorship/business with Saudi Arabia

I heard that those teams will receive between 1M and 5M in sponsorship, depending on the category and level of the club
