quite agree with that...debt is just another word in the world of football...we have 50M or 100M debt, Barca have 500M or 1BN debt...no one will ever pay these. These debts are just defining future movements, deals, etc. The banks btw are not stupids...Abanca will be receiving some money from depor every season, within some years depor might have paid more than the actual money owe to Abanca, but because this that is getting paid is called "interest" the debt to be remain the same... The point is can anyone bring in a couple of lads that can kick a ball? This will favor depor, abanca, us and everyone.... |

![]() If that is the case Abanca could make it easy and say no more signings and only players from Abegondo will be promoted until we reach the 2nd division. I've said it before, but we are paying a player like Borges or Keko probably close to 1.000.000 for the year where you can find a similar player in Galicia to play for 50.000. As they said earlier in the week, this needs to be treated like a business. The only business model that works in football now for small clubs is with only playing young players and selling when an offer comes in with a future percentage (In hindsight, Mujaid should have been sold after a good year last year). When you look at our team now, it is the older players that are unable to compete at this level. Unfortunately, the poor season by the Senior squad is overshadowing how well Fabril have recently been playing as well as the Juveniles who are outclassing almost everyone in their league.

![]() It’s an interesting subject, the “deal” we have with Abanca. It’s also interesting to hear that Fabril and our Juveniles are preforming well in their respective categories.
It was clear for all to see that the two fabril lads who were promoted in the winter transfer market were the best two players on the pitch when they came on in the second half today. However, I disagree that the “players of quality” are unable to perform in this league. Sure, they find it hard playing on surfaces like today, however, half our games are at the Riazor, playing on a primera pitch, we should be battering teams like a cup game here. For me, the problem is the weight of the shirt, the mentality of the team and the obvious lack of tactics that we employee. Not having a goalkeeper or striker is also hindering us. Promotion is, in my opinion, not a possibility this season, however, if (and it’s a big if) we can finish third and make it to the Segunda pro, then, next season youth has to be the focus. I still can’t believe we are in this bloody mess, to think, just over 15 years ago we were playing semi finals of the champions league. Depor will be the only team I ever support, regardless of what the future holds, but these really are testing times for all that love the club

![]() Seriously is it the best they can do? The team is poor, but it doesn't mean you have to give up. I'm really disappointed.

![]() I think Top 3 is a little unrealistic but staying in that Segunda B Pro is a must which means we cannot finish below 6th in the first round.

Please do correct me if I am wrong, but don't we have to finish in the top 3 to go to the Segunda B Pro? finishing 4th, 5th or 6th, just means we stay in Segunda B, any team finishing below 6th place will go into the Tercera division - hence why there are over 100 teams competing in this format this season. Ultimately, not finishing in the top 3 will effectively result in another relegation!!

this is right, sad but right. Staying in segunda b, means that we will be part of 40 teams (below the 42 of primera/segunda) in a semi-pro, or pro situation. Obviously below that is chaos, pubs and villages kicking a ball around before getting back to work on Monday. |

jajajaja, what a mess ![]() I'm confused as well....let's do some maths: 3 teams from each subgroup, or 6 teams from each group will get the promotion spots. 5 groups, this is 5x6=30 teams for the 4 promotion spots. 4 getting promoted to segunda, thus 26 remain in segunda b pro. Segunda b pro will be having 40 teams (2 groups of 20), so from where will the rest 14 teams come? 4 from segunda, and 10, obviously from these 4-6 spots of current segunda b. But this is just my maths, i have no idea how this works |
