Name: Iago Beceiro Pereiro
Birthdate: 15.March.1993
Position: striker

This kid is amazing, he started on the past season playing for Cadete A, but scored so many goals that he was promoted to Juvenil C, again impressed everybody and for this season he was promoted to Juvenil A, a team of 17-year-old players, he was even picked to Spain's U-17 team... and he is only 16.

His pic suggests he needs to develop a lot physically, but he has time. The goal touch is one thing you won't find in a gym. Very promising.

Very promising indeed, I can't remember the last time we had such a young player called up to the national team. I believe Rochela/Chirri were the youngest that I can remember.

12/Oct/2009: 16h23: Juvenil A: Striker Iago Beceiro wasn't picked for the UEFA U-17 European championship, apparently because coach Ginéz Meléndez thinks that he lacks the needed experience. During the past week Iago took part of a concentration that took place in Madrid, and the club was expecting to see his name on the final list.

11/Mar/2010: 17h35: Juvenil A: On Wednesday the team defeated Lugo with a 3-0 score. That game was part of matchday 24 in Liga Nacional Juvenil, which was suspended two weeks ago due to the weather. The scorers were Alvaro, Juan Castro and Iago Beceiro.

I do hope as well to see him in Fabril, though i feel that from his first day in Fabril people will start requiring "Drop Riki, Lassad etc, out, and bring Iago in!!"
