Looks like a decent player, who comes to us after one bad season. Hope that he can show all his skills in our club.

I don't think so.. I saw in Riazor.org a mention of Gerardo Seoane who played in Fabril from 1998-2002..

I don't know how this signing would actually turn out to be, but I like the intention behind these type of signings, young, relatively cheap and yet to be proven at the top level; this is the best a club like ours can hope for..

I haven't seen him play, but hope that we don't sell or loan our Rober for this guy.

Previous Swiss center backs that I remember such as Senderos and Djourou have been very poor, so hopefully Schar is an upgrade on those guys.

Senderos poor? he was very unlucky with his injuries, if not should have been a world class defender..

Sorry mate, I'm an Arsenal fan and believe me, Senderos was awful!

He's having a solid start and shining even when the team is not playing well. If he continues like this, I bet Barca is gonna come knocking at the door for him. They have trouble finding defenders who don't interrupt their passing football and he would be very good there. He only needs to prove his defending game, which he is doing quite decently.

Schar is doing a "Sidnei" from a year before last. Confident, infuential and key in defense, calm and organized offensive, with occasional well aimed offensive bursts. He looks awsome.

Fantastic piece of business. Our next €10M+ player. PL clubs will surely knock at the door after the season.
