I chose Barca but bet on Utd and the draw after 90 mins, but it looks as if the CL Quiniela is wrapped up anyway, so I can support my investment now

Just hope we see some more goals as well though

Congrats to Barca. They fully deserved it.
Great attacking football, with a lots of nice moves by Messi and other companions.

Man Utd showed nothing. Man Utd is far far behind Barca.

I thought United started quite well without offering up too much in the way of dangerous chances but once Barca got into their stride, there was no stopping them.

Everyone talks about how good they are in posession and how skillfull they are but their workrate when they don't have the ball is tremendous. They don't give anyone any easy options as they press from the front and it would be interesting to see how much running they do in a game.

Much deserved victory and glad to see there were hardly any theatrics.

That was nice. Really, what can be said. We were beaten by a far better team. You win some, you get trounced in others.

Last night was a long time in the making, as was Rome. How interminably more rewarding it must be for true Barcelona fans to witness the fruits of that labour. As far as achievements in football go, seeing your club establish itself through its own efforts is unparalleled. Going off the latest rumblings about the potential we possess within our own ranks, United fans may well not need to look on with such envious eyes in the coming years.

congrats, that you survived Barca's latest win.

well, I missed a lot of CL finals as well, if no Spaniards(Katalans) are there, I don't care much about it.

Ravel Morrison's a player every United fan is probably aware of by now. Unbelievably talented. All that will stop him is his transgressions away from football. Others include: Joshua King - striker who seems to have the ball glued to his feet at times; Paul Pogba - skilled, vision, passing, shooting.. seems to good to be true; Ryan Tunnicliffe, Davide Petrucci, Will Keane, and I'm sure another United fan in the know could give you more names. Four of those featured in United's recent FA Youth Cup win.

What with all of the talk of the need for "replacing" Scholes, the timing of his retirement is unfortunate. That's the one position that our youth academy looks capable of filling. I doubt they'll all come through and establish themselves, but you'd be happy for three with how little Premiership clubs tend to produce.

How about your academy, Rack? Not a competitive question, I'm genuinely curious. After reminding myself with Wikipedia, I know Spearing has been playing this season, as have Shelvey and Kelly. No idea what you possess within your reserves. I remember reading an article about how dire the club's academy had become, which was put down to Benitez.
