I'm sceptical about Munua, especially as he'll cost as much as Fernando Sales would. And he's a backup keeper while Sales is a very good player.

He has passed the medical test this afternoon; Lendoiro has a good relationship with Lucho Malvarez (his agent), that's the only reason I can think of why we didn't get Esteban. Surely Munua will earn less money than Esteban but I doubt it would make a 3million difference.

im sure than he is better than Esteban whom was very unsecure for Atletico last year. I think he will be first choice in a very short time. I dont get why any would suggest Esteban he is so bad.

Agents Always acting like the president's best friends to get average players places in good teams.

Do we really need to sign a new goalie?

I dont think its a bad thing to buy new goalie.. Molina and Juanmi are not the youngest anymore and we always have to think of the future.. although I also prefered a winger.. But I think that will depend of qualifying tomorrow for the CL..

Dani Mallo is our future and if he won't return which I don't think will happen, it's always possible to get an average keeper. But as long as Dani Mallo needs to get ready for first team football, we will have Molina and Juanmi.

Gustavo Munua is the new Deportivo goalkeeper.
Signed for 6 years and he is 25

Munua is a good option for the future (seasons 2004-X) he is good keeper but also he can shoot penalties and free-kicks.
But I think that in this season he will be the third keeper.

note: I hope that now Depor sign the winger that we need.....

I like him better as a second keeper. Of course it all depends on how he performs. This was a good signing, as now I feel more comfortable if Molina happens to succumb to injury.
