His club matches has not been in the same quality as at the World cup. He is a good "Box to Box" player. I rate him higher then JD, Haris and Alex.

A signing? How long have I been away?
A goalscoring midfielder is always welcome.

Juan Carlos? He is one of the best players in our squad. Do you think of Juan Dominguez instead, aren't you?

Anyway big welcome for Celso Borges, we are expect more from you!

He looks like a good addition, if it is confirmed.
If he does join, then we will have to loan out Juan Carlos for the remainder of the season and offer him a contract extention.
If JuanDo does not renew, maybe Borges will be his replacement?

30/Dec/2014: 02h13: Market news: TV station Repretel in Costa Rica informs that Celso Borges will arrive loaned from AIK. The loan is for six months and includes a buyout option.

How is that possible ?
His contract with AIK expires in June 2015.

What I feel about this is that the both side want there self but AIK don't want to lose him that why they want depor to sign a deal that will include buy option and his contract end in june 2015.

Market news: Celso Borges and his agent, José Rodríguez Baster, admitted to Newspaper La Nación in Costa Rica that they are negotiating with Depor. The agent said that, if the operation isn’t closed in three days, then it won’t take place as Depor will go for other options.

Baster: “I understand that, if it isn’t closed in three days, then it won’t happen. It is a matter of need by Deportivo. “They want Celso now, because they have other options.”

Celso Borges: "There's interest by Deportivo and there are open negotiations. We are in the process of the possible signing, up to today there'only a negotiation process."
