One of those games where we could have wasted 3 points. We were lucky this time. I hope that there will be a better mental preparation to handle changing phases of games both for the players and the coach.

I guess we were lucky this time, Oviedo deserved a draw.
I believe that we have better midfield than last year and we can manage the season with the strikers we have, my only worry is our defense and specially Somma, I think we need a better central defender.

We will struggle if we play like this. Santos did really good and with quite a bit of luck we got the win - that didn't happen frequently last year.
The formation is 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 if Aketxe drops down a bit, Valle is playing purely on the left wing and Galan on the right.
Caballos side was havily exposed, he is still too rash with his bursts in attack and defense.Valle will have a big problem covering that. I don't know the Ruiz fellow, but Caballo should be replaced at 60' - as the Manager didn't do anything we got the second goal from the right side of attack, with many othere dangerous situations occuring due to Caballo's poor positioning.

I kinda like Somma and Lampro with italian style defending. No messing about, send the ball to row Z. Although I have my doubts on their quality, especially Somma. Alex/Gaku is working, but the Manager will have to work out how to use them in the output of the ball. This are the same problems as last year. Also Aketxe will have to drop down to start attacks, when Oviedo put some pressure we were erratic with the output as last year.
Kone looks good, but his teamates need to step up the follow up, otherwise his work is in vain.

Oviedo came scared, we showed them who is boss, but then lost control completely - problems from the past. Luckily, we pulled ourselfs together and somehow scored from a long ball. Maybe this year we will have the will to fight and some luck on our side.

1- I really didn't like the duo Lampro-Somma. They are both solid defenders, but they will need to improve considerably, especially when playing against stronger offences
2- Gaku has quality and it's clear why Carmelo signed him
3- Aketxe will need the confidence to ask for the ball more often. He reminds me of Giovinco a little bit...
4- Valle, Kone, Santos, Galan, Longo did their job

Long story short, him and his family seem to be fans of Depor.

He was playing for Ural as a teenager (Who is in the Division de Honor with our Juveniles and is a very good youth club) and Depor offered him a contract. Unfortunately during the same time, Madrid offered a contract and he ended up taking that offer instead of Depor's. It seems that some local supporters still remember that and believe he turned his back on Depor. I don't think there's any doubt that within the next 5 years if we are in Primera Lucas V will put on a Depor shirt.
