If it's going to be a penalty shoot out, Ivory Coast have en advantage because of the dramatic one against Cameroon.

Nice to see Diddy Drogba missing - what a muppet!!

On reflection though the Ivory Coast probably shaded it but the game was very close indeed.

The ref was a disaster. That man has got a Jackell and Hyde syndrom.

Drogba was acting weird in the whole match, and im glad he missed(he didn't deserve scoring).

A great tournament witha a lot of great goals, and hopefully some of the teams will do great in the WC.

Egypt did it @ the 5th time and they made an African Record ( the only National team who won the tournment 5 times )........

Ivory Coast got more than Goal Chances, but D.Drogba was not like b4... and Egypt + the Huge Fans + the Present of their President make the players do that history.... Congratulats...

and Hard luck to Ivory Coast... they had an good tournament.. ( iam feeling sad for Kolo Toure and E.Eboue )...

Egypt deserved the cup in the final. i didnt watch all match but they played good in the final. Egypt's wing players Barakat and Abdelwahab are really good players. partucularly Barakat. Ivory Coast could win the match too. God answered bact to Hadary's prays in the end.
congrats !

the match was of an average quality with much of actions from côte d'ivoire but drogba was poor in the completion. The best players that I saw at the time of this final are Mohammed Abd El Wahab, Yahia Toure, kolo Toure, Eboue and Barakat.I wanted that the côte d'ivoire gains and because of Egypt I spent a bad night .One of the Egyptian supporters died when Egypt gained!!!

Wow!!! Egypt won on penalties!!!

I can't say how much I'm happy about Egypt'v victory!!! Because it let me to win the prediction league!

But I can't say how much I'm sorry about Cote d'Ivoire's loss. this was the team I supported. When I heard about Cote d'Ivoire's loss on penalties the 1st my thought was "It's Drogba who missed it". Damn, this tournament was an executioner's block for cocky stars. Both Eto'o and Drogba payed for their self-praise.

But I have one big question after this Cup. It's the 5th title for Egypt in their history. As I remember it's the 2nd success for the last years. So Egyptians are very good in this competition. But why do they always miss WC qualifications?! I've never seen Egypt playing in the world cups. WHY?!

Great question. I'm sure they won African nations cup because of the fans this year.

Well, they don't qualify for the WC because they're in hard groups, and can't manage to win their 'key matches'.

I have my doubts about Egypt. If you judge them by their play in the final they deserved to win. But against Morocco and against Senegal they should have got a penaly against them. The same goes for the penalty they received in the final. If you ask me Senegal also deserved to play the final.

I'm not being subjective 'cause Morocco got disqualified in the same group, but Egypt is an ACTING team. they care more about shouting for fouls that don't exist and their play is poor (I hate their way of defence , they use their hands to stop players and manage to fool the refs.) IMO, they don't deserve this cup.

Heidern i've ever seen some1 from Morocco and Tunis sayin Egypt plays good, because every team says we play good, and plah plah... (Arab Prplms)

and the biggest prblm is that Egypt won the Cup because the Egyptian ppl talk more than they play, example if they saw you @ the streets all the people in the streat are Ivorians... and they are saying ( We beat you )... i prefer if they loose... to make them silent.... ( but that didn't happen ).....

iam still counting... 10 ppl said that iam from Ivory Coast.... lol
