He'll probably go to the EPL, Acquiring Spanish players is becoming the thing to do with clubs. If not, he'll stay in Spain. Its either the EPL or LFP, I dont think he'll go anywhere else

I really don't like him and I'm very happy that he will leave. He represents the Depor era that is finished and now its Caparrós time, even if Capa likes him. He is a good player, but not such a good person and professional.

One friend of mine had once the chance to talk with him for a while and he is a complete asshole with 0% involvement in the team, the club and the city. He is a prepotent guy and he still didn't realice that Depor is the club of his life and that probably he wont play better and for so many years in another club.

He has been sucking Depor's money with his salary with very occasional good performances and a lot of "strange injuries" that were giving him a lot of vacation.

If he leaves I will make a big party! YES!

(Sorry to be so frank but I had to say it)

Exactly my opinion of him. On interviews he has always seemed very narcissistic and never expressed any (believable) passion for what he does. He is the sort of player that must leave if we wan't some fresh air to breathe again, having the likes of him and Sergio in the squad who is very commanding but doesn't bring much in order of passion and enthusiasm makes it impossible for a new team to flourish.

gotta say he was one of my favourite players. i remeber the liga win and the centenariazo when he celebrated winning for depor agaisnt the club where he started playing and didn't care it was madrid- he wore that jokers hat that said: "A Copa E Nosa".
Brings a tear to the eye.
Another one from the liga 2000 era goes on: Only Manuel Pablo remains i believe, and scaloni of course

Default Blackburn Rovers Chasing Victor!!!

Dani espera y Víctor se acerca al Blackburn
El portero del Deportivo de La Coruña, Dani Mallo, reconoció ayer que el club incumplió sus promesas de ponerse en contacto con él para acometer su renovación por la entidad coruñesa.

REDACCIÓN A CORUÑA

Please can someone translate this and tell me what are the chances this is true?Is this a good paper for rumours?

What kind of player is Victor?

I suppose that you aren't used to Depor's players. He is a right winger that ended his contract with the club. Good in free-kicks, one of the pillars during the last years, but in the last two seasons his level in the squad decreased and for that reason his contract wasn't renewal.

Oh, and about the article. Víctor says that he feel sorry for not having an understading with the club's officials. The interest of the Premiership clubs is real, but no names are know. The name of Blackburn was gave by the media who follows the market.

The best papers to know what's happening are: La Opinion A Coruña and El Ideal Gallego.

About the article, it only talks about the relantionship between Depor and the player. One thing mentioned is that Mark Hughes is the one asking for the signing and that apparently the contacts between Blackburn and Víctor have started.

I have heard that as well, but I am afraid he will find the EPL too physical.

Pic from the front page. TRANSFER VICTORY.

It says that Victor has reached an agreement with Panathinaikos and he's expected to sign a 2+1 years contract.

Panathinaikos will compete in UEFA Cup this year.
