Yeah, let's do a Haka against Celta. That would be hilarious!

Another news, Canterbury of New Zealand has signed a deal to wear the handball team of La Coruña. Are we the next ones?

The team's name is OAR, I don't name the division in which they play, but they aren't in the first one (liga ASOBAL).

I went to their site and couldn't even find a football shirt. I'm curious about where El Ideal Gallego gets their info.

hey guys...yea u wont be finding any football jerseys on there coz they dnt produce any...and we wont be looking as cool as the all black coz adidas makes their gear

It feels like we're being used as a ginny pig to see if canterbury can get into the football industry...their trying to build on the publicity they are gettin from Peter Cech wearing the head gear they produce

Depor have been 'used' before by by a brand wanting to make name in Europe. Sega's Dreamcast, for example, was sponsor of just a few teams during its conquest of Europe including Arsenal and Depor.

Besides, Joma also had Depor als 'trial' and later start to equip Sevilla (until 2010), Racing de Santander (2006-2009) and Getafe.

Personally I never liked Joma's design, and I don't know whether a deal with Canterbury is more lucrative.

Nowadays, prestigious rugby-countries like Australia, South Africa, Ireland and Scotland wear Canterbury.
