Yes, fans who are insulting our players on the streets and making them feel uncomfortable - salute them.
No, instead of a pad on the back, they ought to get a slightly harder one in the back of the head!

They have cancelled his contract, as they did with Ze Castro. He had 2 years left, so I'm not sure how much compensation was agreed.

Either way its good for the club to get him off the wage bill and from a sporting perspective, I dont think we will miss him too much.
I would put Kaka and Insua ahead of him in the pecking order, however we do now need to bring in Marchena for experience. Having Rochela and Uxio as 3rd and 4th choice CB's would be too risky IMO.

Personally, I'd get Marchena, and send Uxio back to Fabril for another year. If one of our defenders gets injured, Uxio can still always come back to the first team for a while.

Can't believe I only just now read this, I would've slept a lot better knowing this Hopefully Marchena is announced soon.

I think after him leaving we should target promotion, i'm sure we will concede less goals now

I really wonder what Valeron is thinking right now. Is he happy to have his old teammate back? Or is he thinking, "not this guy again".

I mean seriously, I know these players are all friends (well, most of 'em), but at least some of them must have been pissed at Aythami for costing the team all those goals.

I had the same thought Although I think if Valerón really didn't want Aythami there he'd have enough influence at the club to prevent his signing. As far as I remember the Canarians at Depor were very close friends, including Aythami.
