Default Coach topic: Gustavo Munúa

I don't know too much about this guy but he is rated very higly in mnay football games I own. I guess he would be an alrite signing but really we should be after a CB and a winger more intencely than a GK!

Don't know too much apart that he is from Uruguay and plays for Nacional de Montevideo (who incidentally are playing in the Teresa Herrera) and he is supposed to be coming to Depor for around 3 million Euros. WHY?

I think it's a strange coincidence that Nacional 'suddenly' are in the Teresa Herrera tournament...

There are some facts about him:

Name: GUSTAVO ADOLFO MUNUA VERA
Birthday: MONTEVIDEO / 27/01/78
Height: 1.89MTS.

He plays this year for Nacional de Montevideo and had 963 minutes without a goal He almost broke the record of the legend of Uruguay Mazurkiewick (988 minutes). He was one of the reasons why Nacional was the champion in Uruguay but naturally there are big diferences between Uruguay and Spain so don´t think that he could reach that record in "la liga"

Damn almost 11 matches without goal.. not bad. But maybe he gets 1 ball every game :P

He is young and if Mallo is going then we should have a good one for the future.. maybe he is the right one

I think he'll be our first signing, as for sure Dani Mallo will be loaned out next season... so we need a new goalkeeper.

I saw him play recently, made some good saves and proved himself an effective keeper. With Mallo on loan he will fit nicely.

I have just read that Depor have offered 3,000,000 Euros for Munua.
Nacional must also decide by Wednesday if they want djorovic or acuña for 1 year on loan. Nacional must also play 2 friendlies in Coruña or pay 500,000 euros.
