Default Naybet

Is it true that Naybet would end his last 2 years at Qatar?

Yes, but if he goes to Qatar he'll probably get $1 million a season

Default Should Naybet leave?

Do you think we'd profit or lose if Naybet gets an offer from Qatar that he can't refuse?

The negative thing about it is that we lose a leader in the backline. Andrade needs one to perform. And if nobody new joins then we might lack centre-backs. Naybet is also such a player who always tries really hard and is never complacent, very professional and experienced.

The positive aspect though is that our defence would gain a lot of speed with a younger guy like Ibanez, Alvaro or P.Amo in.

So if Naybet leaving would leave us with just Andrade-César for the next season, then it's probably bad but Andrade-Ibanez/César/Amo seems stronger than this season.

I dont' want Naybet out of the club, not now.
About Ibañez I think that the view of Lendoiro is right, he wanted to sign Ibañez but with a option in which he will have to play one more year in Albacete, with this he creates a room for the central defenders: Naybet/Andrade/Amo/Cesar
Then they will see what is the situation and if Naybet or Andrade are ready to get out of the squad; then, they could replace it with Ibañez.

naybet should do what is right for naybet....

after so many years of excellent service he has more than earned the right to choose where he plays next season...

i thought he wanted a quiet retirement at a qatar club. apparently he has changed his mind. if he can (and will) still perform for depor, he should still have a place in our starting eleven.

but if he should leave this season, then andrade or one of the other more seasoned defenders needs to rise up as the new leader of the back four.

i would always remember naybet for his "minister of defence" title.

naybet should leave....from a management point of view--- say if you have a goal of reducing the squad average age to 25 something like that of ajax....I reckon this should be the last season of fran and naybet. Now its time for them to assume the godfather role of all our youngsters. Momo and we need one more good left winger....Thats what we have always lacked since frans age has caaught upto him!!!!.....Luque is doing well but he is leaving... I sincerely hope Luis Garcia comes...becuase he is A1....guys very young and versatile. or javi guerrero young blood for fast steady attack!!! From a supporters point of view---- I would say let both of them say for two years...But of course everybody knows it isnt going to happen!!

If he leaves... who is going to "lead" the team after next season???
Without Mauro Silva and Naybet there seems to be quite a hole in terms of leadership.... So maybe if he leaves now, one player could establish himself as the "2nd man behind Mauro" and our leader from 2005-06 on....
