I just booked my flight and hotel. I'll stay at Hotel Riazor. The marketing is all in the name

I will arrive Friday night super late. I have the whole Saturday free and I am all ears for suggestions on what to do and where to go.

I also would be grateful for advice when it comes to buying the tickets for the game. I am going there for that after all

I'm soooo excited, it's gonna be my first Depor game live :***2:

Yep RW, I'm certainly interested in that. It all depends what day the game is on. We know that it can be any day/night & time from Friday to Monday.
I'm not spending 4 nights in Malaga in February, so I'll wait until the day and time of the game is announced before deciding. That'll probably be the end of January / start of February, so I'll have to take the chance that the flights don't increase too much by then.

The good thing about Malaga is that both Aer Lingus and Ryanair fly there from Dublin. With a bit of luck, we might be able to fly in and out in two days.

By the way, I'm almost certainly going to the last game of the season (home v Cordoba) if you're interested in that also.

Same here, i will keep an eye on it & hopefully it will be on Saturday or early Sunday.
I don't think i will be able to join for Cordoba match in June, hopefully we will be promoted by then & you celebrate the promotion in Riazor

The game has moved to the later time of 20:30 on Sunday. You may know this already

Have a great time and post something on your return regarding the match and your impressions of the city itself.

PS, take an umbrella

I arrived yesterday night. I woke up to the Riazor wave sounds

I’ll go explore the city. Any advice on where I should buy a ticket for the game or which section in the stadium to go for would be appreciated.

I’m happy they didn’t move it to Monday or Friday.

I live in Hamburg so rain is no issue

It all depends where in general you like to watch your football. I normally sit in the Preferencia Superior to watch games now. A seat in the Marathon Inferior next to the Riazor Blues should be an experience to enjoy. To buy tickets on non match days the club have a ticket office in Avenida Havana (Preferencia Stand, opposite deportienda). On match days you can pick tickets up at from the windows by the Pabellón de Deportes (sports pavilion) which located by the car park facing the beach.

Have a great time.

Edit, get to the stadium (deportienda side) a couple of hours before the game to take in the pre match atmosphere including the arrival of the team bus.
