Enjoy the game, I've never been in Valencia, but seems to have more things than just football. I hope Depor will win there

Well, now we'll see if this is really a Depor team or not. Let me explain myself: with all the newbies around it's hard to tell if this is a "proper Depor team" or not, I mean, if they've embedded themselves in the spirit of the city&club or not (and this includes Caparrós).
The Valencia game will tell.
IF we are to adhere to our tradition this will be a hell of a game, where Depor will try to kill Valencia from minute 1 - regardless of the final score.
If it's just "another game" then I'll wait for a new coach, president, squad and let's start it over again

(I was reading an interview with Bebeto the other day and he reminded me of what Depor ought to be...)

Valencia isn't in the best form, and the fact that they play champions league this week also helps us. We've played our best against big teams, hopefully this is true here

If I look at our "passionate" performance against Celta the other week, I fear that we have to wait for a new coach, president, squad then...
Last year, I remember, AS wrote a comment that Depor-Valencia had been the "new clásico" of the last decade, but looking at both teams' performances in the last weeks, I have a feeling that this weekend's match is going to be an "anti-clásico". I would be very surprised if we see good attacking football. Two teams in crisis...

Anyway, if Valencia's bad luck with injuries continues, they might have to field 3-4 young players from their 2nd squad. Still, at this stage I would be more than satisfied with a point at Mestalla.

This game is live on Skysports 1 here, so I'll have to go and get my head shaved before the game because the pain of tearing my hair out is just too much these days.

Having said that, this could be just the sort of game where we break our away curse and scramble a win. Valencia are having a nightmare with injuries and Roma will be right up for the game tomorrow as they still arent assured of progressing.

I agree with JW2 because I think we'll see a very low scoring game with not much attacking quality (hopefully Villa and Morientes will still be out). Our players are good at the theory and recognise that we're playing crap at the moment but now it's time to really have a go at the practical side of things and turn the talk into action.

FORZA Depor

Agree with Xoan. If Depor again doesn't show any possible sign of motivation, it simply means Caparros is unable to get the fire in this team.
