They indeed could end up useless, but this isn't like Sand, whom we paid a million euros for if I remember well. And it "always ends up like that" isn't a valid argument, as I doubt you're really extremely familiar with both Carew and Martins. Neither am I, but I'm not saying they'll fail 100% either

I remember you giving us a 75% chance of getting relegated a few weeks ago, and you already changed your opinion after just 2 matchdays. You could be wrong about this too, me thinks

that was on a given moment, under the situation of that moment only. Many players have come to us since then, luckily, and they're doing a good job
So i wasn't wrong

Many players? The only player who arrived at Depor since your comment, is Camuñas...

So basically, what you're saying now is that the new players who arrived this summer are doing better than you expected, which is why you changed your opinion. If these players can turn out better than you expected, why couldn't Carew or Martins?

Game, set and match!

None of the two are great options TBH, but of the two I would go for Martins.
The question is, do we spend approx 1m euros on him, or do we wait until January and then bring in another striker?
IMO Lendoiro should have brought the striker in already, waiting till january is risky and usually expensive.

Afonso Alves, who's an old aspiration of Lendoiro, is a free agent now after ending his contract with Alrayyan club from Qatar. He's a brazilian who has 8 caps for the national team, 31 years old and with impressive stats. Currently Algharrafa from Qatar are negotiating with him. Between 2006–2008 he played in the dutch league for Heerenveen and scored 45 goals in 39 games!

Edit: Alrayyan are negotiating with Luis Fabiano to replace him!

I remember him from his time at Middlesbourough in 2008, when he arrived for £12m. Like Martins, he isnt a great option and would only be a stop gap solution for a year or two.
He's quite sharp and pacy, but he's already 31, has been playing in a lower level league for 2-3 years and he probably earns a lot of money - could be another Pepe Sand.

Don't worry, Ricardo, there is no striker joining Depor.

I doubt that he could be as bad as Sand

I don't know about Leo, but they pay enough attention. They have signed Iago Beceiro as well. Lviv is becoming the eastern La Coruna

Forza Lemberg!

Actually Lucas Perez was born in Coruna, but he has not played for us in his junior years. But bring the boy back!

I guess it would be safe to say that we wont be making any move in the transfer window with the current financial situation.
