Did we get paid not to score? There is no other explanation for this.

I don't know what is wrong with this team, i think we are the worst team in the top 5 leagues in terms of missing penalties as a percentage, the penalty miss pissed me off, we should have one hour a day of how to score a penalty..

1- Juanfran is top class. His best season in professional football for sure
2- Guilherme is our best midfielder
3- Marlos did well today, he did what he was supposed to do, and we can't blame him for not having that finishing that Babel had.
4- This Andone is the one we saw in the first 9-10 games of the first round.

In terms ot Tactic the coach did what he had, the players on the other hand, did an awful match especially Andone, Emere and Borges not for wasting the penalty but for the stupid slow reaction when the keeper bounced the ball toward him...he was waiting for it to come !!!

With such form, I don't see our team capable to grab even a draw against Sevilla

for me the main problem lies in the position of Emre.. Pepe Mel needs to give him some continuity in that position, instead he benchs him, moves him to wings which neutralizes him.. Gil looked tired yesterday, and Andone is low on confidence.. just look at our starting lineup in the past few games there is hardly any continuity (for one reason or another) excluding Juanfran..

Exactly. What he was waiting for? Go and kick that ball either with your head or with your foot.

Mel is doing a good job. Its not his fault the missed penalty today and in Valencia or the disallowed goal, if our players had scored in both games most likely we were going to be 12 points above the pit, but lets keep the drama up as we are used to do.
We don't have a leader and that's our problem. If we had things would have been different.

I think we lack continuity with the starting 11. In the last 3-4 games Mel has tried different systems with different players and it seems the players are slightly lost.
Form comes and goes, and it seems like Andone and Emre are currently off form.
1) Marlos played very well, but I feel it was more of an individual performance than a team performance, but still very encouraging.
2) Gil is one of our best players, I hope he is able to remain injury free for our remaining games
3) I think Mel should have replaced Emre with Fajr after 60 mins, Emre was not at the races yesterday.
4) We are fighting for our lives and Borges casually kicks it in the middle of the goal, I mean seriously, why did he not bury it in the corner! and his reaction after it was saved, was just too slow.
5) John did ok, at this moment in time he is having more impact when coming on than Gama.
6) Guilherme is a quality player, we need to sign him
