Surprising news that Harry Redknapp has been removed from his job at Spurs.

seems like many of their fans are happy, they are complaining about his lack of respect towards the club.. dont know what they mean..

It was only a matter of time before Levy's business acumen clashed with Redknapp's insatiable desire to buy. Given how well Spurs have managed away from the pitch, that's a fight Redknapp was never going to win.

That he obviously decided to leave to be the national coach in january, before the offer was even made to him.

I think his head was turned when the vacancy for the national coach became available. His heart operation and the court case did not help either IMO.

On the field, I don't find him tactically aware especially against the top sides. Since the turn of the year Spurs' form has been very poor and the turning point for me was the 5-2 defeat at Arsenal. Had they won that match after leading 2-0, a 13 point gap would have opened up between the bitter north London rivals.

The fans can think what they want. He was practically a dead man walking when he was clamouring for funds from Levy. Spurs just aren't that kind of club, whilst Redknapp would have done well to remember that some of his better buys weren't the result of spending big money.

I thought he did a great job there - Spurs finished twice in the top 4 - they had failed to do that for many many years.
Lets see who comes in to replace him, I'd be suprised if they manage to top what he has done there. As an Arsenal fan, I hope they cant/dont .. lol

Robben and Schweini killed the future of Redknapp at Spurs. Bad move from the management -according to me.

Drogba goes to Shanghai Shenhua!!! probably the right move, he is 34 and probably will only be a sub for most of the top European teams..

Come on we are better than 'C'
Anyway not sure how to take this one.Watford are renowned for having a great youth academy hope this isn't affected.Having loan players will probably be good for us we normally have 2 or 3 each season. Anymore and the fans will begin to think we have become a feeder club and i'm not sure they will like that.
I suppose money talks , let's see what happens!

hopefully Watford will be treated as a proper club than a feeder..
but Feli why did Watford sold Marvin Sordell before him reaching the peak? i thought he will be worth at least double had they kept him one more year or so..
