Malaga had the buyout clause of 1.2 million.. I hope that he is good enough for Primera..

I think this is a great signing and worth the investment. I consider Albentosa to be a poor man's Otamendi. He is very strong, physical, great in aerial duels and also a strong character you look for in a defender. He reminds me alot of Sidnei defensively, as he is very solid. I think we will have a strong center back duo in Sidnei-Albentosa. In case any of them is not available, Arribas will be a great back-up. Our CB position is much improved with his signing. I'm looking forward to see him in action.

If anyone doubts Albentosa's abilities, just look at Malaga fan's reactions to their club not picking up the option they had on him and instead going with the loan of Madrid's Llorente. All of them are disappointed in letting him go. Oh well, our gain

Welcome to the club Albentosa!

An expensive bet of the coach. A lot of eyes and knives will be on him this season. He's a lot to prove. I hope the coach doesn't have blind faith in him. The Sidnei-Arribas combo last year was second only to the one between Lucas & Luis A and shouldn't be disrupted for the sake of it. Wish him well.

I don't see anything wrong with Albentosa.. in fact, he already made some very good interceptions in the past games and looked like a leader in defence.. plus he is always a threat during set-pieces..

for me he is the worst technically gifted Spanish player I have ever seen. and I have a Spanish colleague playing in Albentosa's position in the Hungarian 4th level.

My patience has run out. He's the tallest player in the team and what does he do when defending corners? He crouches down - every time! He should be standing tall, bouncing up and down even, to make himself even taller. Instead of being the bully, he hides. And watch him after he passes - always pointing to the receiver to send the ball somewhere else, never wants to take a return pass. Sorry, but he just doesn't cut it at this level.

agree, Arribas is much better

it is very clear the Garitano has a problem in player selection, for example why the f*** Gil has not played before?!!! he is much better than Gama.

Albentosa started the league pretty well and his passing also was more accurate.. Nowadays he looks kind of nervous while passing making many mispasses and mistakes in the defense..

So what he means!!!!!!!!!
