The comments from the two Diego's (Forlan and Ifran) suggest this guy is a top class player and will be a fixed starter in the Uruguayan national team for years to come. Let's hope he can shine with us.

Also a midfielder or two.
Officials said that we already have 5 CM and that Fajr will end up leaving. When was Fajr a central midfielder? He shouldn't be counted, but we still have 4 without Fede.
Guilherme just signed, Mosquera will probably stay, so it should be between Alex and Celso who goes. If Borges is sold then we still have a spot for a foreign player and we could cash in, with Alex leaving we would probably be left empty handed. He didn't show much, but neither was given a proper chance and he is a fighting beast and a legend.

With Pedro, Guilherme, Fede and Celso fighting for two spots - all claiming to be starters we could end up with three scenarios:
1) They will make each other better, but in the end the losers will be complaining,
2) They will create a negative atmosphere from the start and the team will be affected from day 1.
3) Fede claims Alex's position and doesn't fight properly for a spot.

I don't like this scenarios so a possible sell of Celso is the best solution. I just hope Fede is worth it.

Last season we had Pedro, Guilhermi and Borges and things were fine, all three of them are top professionals and I don't see any problem maintaining them

We should not lose any of pillars of our team, we barely manged to stay last season and we need better squad to insure we are not going down

We should not sell Sidnie , Colak, juanfran, pedro, borges, Guilerhme and Andone

I agree that Borges is likely to leave because of the options. He is a good player but Mosquera and Guillherme are very similar. It frees up a Non-EU Spot and gives us 4-5M (hopefully) to use to bring in a GK and W. This may be our last chance to sell him but it is a business and leaving would make the most sense (even though the most sense to the position was not signing Guillherme)

Unfortunately JuanDo and Alex are 2nd Division players and don't think they will count now with Valverde as the backup.

.
I totally agree - bringing Valverde + paying for Guilherme doesn't make any sense to me.

He has a bright future in front of him. Hopefully, he'll contribute a lot to our team this season.

Only thing he seemed to be doing wrong in the video is the long passes, they all seemed to be misses

at the last action he had 2-3 possibilities to assist Cavani totally alone in the middle

I dont blame him for miss-pass on the opponent half, that finally costed us a goal and lose, but he had some other horrible mistakes (bad passes) before that...

That's what you expect from young players even if they have a huge future in front of them. We are getting him for free exactly for that reason. That's the price we pay :/
