Players signed at Depor?
hey - im just wondering who has actually signed for deporthis year??? i hear so much about rumours (not just from this site) and the club saying they are signed and the players denying it...
so i guess im just asking for an update on who is still in negotiations, who is signed (pre deal or not) and who is still just rumoured??

Maniche - Lendoiro has asked Porto for a price Caneira - Portuguese CB that plays for Bordeaux and Possibly Javi Guerrero.

Ruben still has to sign, but this is only a matter of time.
Momo is still considering what Deportivo has to offer, especially in the sportive aspect. He would be third left winger after Luque and Fran. Amavisca and Munitis are also Depor players for the moment and both leftwingers... I think the best thing for him is to be loaned out one year... becuase for the campaign 05-06 Luque will be the only left winger left. The other names are only speculations, but Caneira seems to be a very realistic option and Maniche has been related more and more with Depor. That would be a very good signing.

If we don't bring any replacement for Djalminha, I bet Fran would be Valeron's substitute and therefore we would have just Luque for the left wing, and he is not a true winger. I'm afraid we are losing a superb forward because of our lack of a true left winger.
Anyway, my point is that Momo could find a niche in the team. Irureta is not known for giving opportunities to youngsters but if he makes a good preseason he could get a place in the final roster. Remember Pandiani was not going to make the team but he "forced" Irureta to change his mind scoring at will in the preseason (against quality opposition, not against Racing Villalbés like Changui and Ivan Perez use to do).

yeh i totally agree!!! thats why i think momo would be great!! he is actually a winger!! no more changes no more experiments!!
i think we should sign him and then we would finally have a true left winger!! i have watched a few depor games but have NEVER seen luque play striker for us, and thats actually what he is!! we should not waste him! nor take him for granted, he surely cant be happy with playing a foreign position all the time!!

In the interviews on this site he is happy with the transformation to a left wing. So I am not sure it is a bad idea and I think he is better as left wing that he is at being a lone atacker.
