Lightbulb 27/8/06 | Deportivo vs Zaragoza (Pre-Match Comments)

The kick-off to the season is just around the corner and we have a tough first encounter in Zaragoza. They have recruited amazingly well during the off-season and quite frankly.

They begin with D'Alessandro, Juanfran (Besiktas) he is a quality left fullback, Sergio (Celta) um, not given any compliments here lol, Aimar (Valencia) quality all over, with his mouth and what comes out (to be taken in a non-sexual manner LOL ), and Pique from Man Utd, one for the near near future...AND Present!

No one can doubt their striking potency... Ewerton, Diego Milito

Defense... Gabbi Milito is their ROCK, Juanfran will slot in @ left fullback, nothing but quality written all over them and a touch of WORLD CLASS!

I have told my mates (who are EPL supporters), that Zaragoza will inflict damage to the Spanish heavyweights this season... (excluding DEPOR! (SUPER HEAVYWEIGHTS LOL))

It's going to be a tough tassle...

ForZa Depor!!

I will depend on who plays for us on the day. Obviously a lot of players will be making their proper debut for the team. no doubt that beating milan will be good for confidence. there arnt any 'easy games' in La Liga these days so what we want to see in the first few games is good solid performances from the team as a whole.
but saying that, Zaragoza have just come up to primera, so we should beat them, but it wont be easy.

Zaragoza's best player last season was Cani (now at Villareal) and when he didn't play well Zaragoza didn't play well and vice versa. They have purchased some decent players but I think that we have enough to beat them and finish above them this season.

IMO, they have one of the most complete squad in la liga....
d.milito, ewerthon, d'alessandro, aimar, Oscar, zapater, alvaro, Piqué, g.milito,Juanfran....
that is a very solid and dangerous squad....

Nice repport...

It will be exciting if Zaragosa plays mith both (D'Alessandro, Aimar, Ewerthon,Milito). It seems to be cracy both to play with all four of them and to bench one of them.

Juanfran (Besiktas) he is a quality left fullback.... I disagree I seen him in 20 games and he always stink... lets hope he will once again.
