Default Mallorca v Deportivo 10-09-2006 (Post match Comments)

I'm not sure there is even much to say about a game that sounded as exciting as watching paint dry.

I guess we can take some positives though as we are still unbeaten in the league amd we kept a clean sheet.

Some strange tactics by Caparros (positional) with his team selection and substitutes.

the result aint bad, 1 point away at a reinforced mallorca is ok by my standards.
But we still dont have a style of play, and no idea of a formation to use in attack. And even worse we dont know what players to use in offense.

A clean sheet away from home so I suppose it could have been worse. I'd like to see either Riki upfront (in his natural position) or Taborda given a go as he simply hasn't been given any opportunities.

As long as we win our home games I will be a happy man!!

Considering our 2 lost games in Copa Xunta we shouldn't say that a draw against Mallorca is so bad.

We're sixth in ranking at the mo. What more do you want

Now let's go and push Villarreal in a crisis!

i think we needed lolo and also why did we play 3 pivotes? sergio-colo-duscher??? i know sergio was attacking mid but comeone when juan rodri played so well v zaragoza why not leave him!! it clearly detracted!! and also why not play riki up front and play LOLO or another winger!! we have so many wingers i mean comeone!! simple!!

It looks like Capa got it the way he wanted. Effective I guess, but this way of playing is not endearing me to the new era.

Couldn't expect anything else with the lineup Capa put out there, why put on Bodipo for Riki? Auoate has a better chance of scoring than Bodipo. Capa needs to give some new blood a chance. He should put a foward line that looks a little like this:

Estoyanoff/Cristian-------J.Rodriguez---------Filipe
--------------------------Riki
