Default LA LIGA: 15/10 Betis 1-1 Deportivo (Post Match)

BETIS 1-1 DEPOR
48' Arizmendi 0-1
92' Robert (pen) 1-1

ARIZMENDIS GOAL

THE STUPID 'HAND' BY LOPO

ROBERTS GOAL

1-1 is fair enough, but the way they scored their goal, is making me sad.

To be honest, I thought we'd pull this one home but we didnt. It was a terrible played match! We didn't play well at all, and Filipe confirmed that by getting that silly red card.

A very intense and physical match, with alot of cards and alsmost 'fights'. Before the match I'd be happy with a 1-1, but now I'm so disappointed by their late goal. What was Lopo thinking? You don't jump up with your hand, in the 94th minute, inside your field! That resulted in a penalty and they scored. So ridicoulus!

1-1 is a fair result if you look at chances afterall.

Yes, Capa is like partying on the pitch after the match.... but there were singings or whistelings against him in the stadium and I think not few people said before the match that Betis win for sure, and in the end they drawed with a hell lot of luck....

I think we just lost concentration in the end, and that lead to penalty.

I hope Lopo gets penalized by the club for that stupid hand ball

We could have won it

It's a just result, Betis should have gotten at least another penalty (if not two). However, disappointing that we basically gave the victory away with three really dumb actions: the sending off of Filipe, Estoyanoff's blown chance and the handball of Lopo.
Oh well, still it's a point away from home.

It was a really hard game so I don't consider this draw as a bad result, especially because we had a lot of luck (2 posts, handball by Capdevila in the area, red card for Sobis...). One thing that makes me sad is that we lost a goal just before the end. And Lopo's behaviour... it was stupid.

Well the result was maybe even a bit unfair because betis was better al through the game, not good but better. Of course it feels like shit losing in the 92nd minute but somehow i knew betis would score. The ref was outrageous! the second yellow for Luis Felipe was so deliborate by Rivera. Sobis first was wrong too, he was first in the situation, and they crashed together hip to hip. Betis should have had a penalty after 1 min too. This ref should be kicked!

I hope baby depor will do alot better next game!

Some thoughts:

¤ I'm getting fed up with Riki! That players dive from time to time is, unfortunately, part of football nowadays, but Riki seem to have his default on always fishing for a free/penalty kick instead of actually go for the ball. Not only is this a disgraceful behaviour that in time could endanger our beloved game, but it's also missing us oppurtunities to score.

¤ We need Duscher. Colo did very little right today, his job of not stopping the ball in the centre was poorly handled.

¤ What happened to our defence? In the first hall the betis players could just waltz into our penalty area without any effort whatsoever.

¤ A class goal by Arizmendi. He saw that Doblas was badly positioned and went for the strike, which was perfectly executed. I never thought I'd write these things about Arifuera...

¤ Estoyanoff need to stop diving too if he want's to keep the privelige as being my avatar.

¤ A weird, but just, penalty, and I still think we should consider ourself lucky for the point.

A fair result, but Felipe's red card, which was tottaly unfair, had a strong impact in the psychology of both teams. Depor controlled the game before this red card (even without playing a good game). In the last minutes the players lost their concentrantion and every one in the pitch seemed furious (Capa included).

i felt sad when i saw Jabo's face 1-2 minute before Betis goal. in the end Capa seemed happy and 1 point for both teams is equitable sharing

i think that juan rodriguez doesnt deserve to play amc, he only stops play, verdu or iago, and valeron as soon as he is fit. Defense needs more stability, it was a bad game by barragan but man, manuel pablo looks like he is ready for the retirement home. I would start Taborda if he is fit, Riki seems to play, but he doesnt seem to score, so riki on the left and taborda upfront
