Default COPA: 25.10.2006 Deportivo Vs Racing (1st Leg- Pre-game comments)

Well, we start this season's copa del rey campaign at home against Racing de Santander. It's a two-leg eliminatory. We will play the second match in 15 days in El Sardinero. This first leg will take place on Wednesday 25th October, starts at 20h45.

Momo and Rúben Castro can't play the game because Lendoiro has put a special clause in their contracts, Racing has to pay us if they want to use the players against us. Off course that Racing will not pay a dime.
But Racing can use Antonio Tomás because his contract doesn't has that clause. We will also see Munitis and Scaloni on this game.

Curiously we will see the tallest player in la liga and at the same time, one of the smallest ones.
It's David and Golliat!

What squad are Depor taking into this game? The league one or the back-up?

Believe or not Racing will play with the bench players too:

Calatayud
Scaloni - Oriol - Garay - Luis Fernandez
Balboa - Vitolo - Matabuena - Oscar Serrano
Juanjo - Aganzo

Munitis and Zigic are out of the list of called players!
