Default COPA: 08.11.2006 Racing Vs Deportivo (2nd-leg Pre-game comments)

Time to prepare the match. It will be played this Wednesday at El Sardinero (20h45). We won the first-leg (1-0), so a draw or a 1-2 defeat will give us the pass. The goals as visitors counts as double.

i think we got this covered. i hope we use a similar lineup of infrequent players so they can show theyre stuff.

Iago and duscher in midfield and de guzman at some point perhaps.Adrian should get some desired minutes

It's important that we score a goal, and quickly. Its risky to try to hold a 0-0 draw. we need to keep the same attitude from saturday and attack. I hope maybe Andrade gets some minutes here, he's played in a couple of friendlies already

It is very important to get that valuable away goal early in the match. That would make it an instant up-hill struggle for Racing.

maybe andrade and arbeloa in the back then...give lopo a rest and juanma can come in the 2nd half. thats what i would do.
barragan could have another chance to show that he isnt totally out of form.

verdu iago and JR in midfield, felipe and lolo on the wings and adrian up top.

we can beat them with that team

lopo and juanma looked extremely solid against barca.. if that partnership can carry on with consistency i wud say sell andrade in January..

everyone seems to forget rodri... IMO, he shud be allowed some min.s as the centre-back...

Great lineup to see how the bench players are performing. A bit rsiky for an away game when we have such a small advantage, but anxious to see a lineup similar to that one nonetheless

Called players: Aouate, Manuel Pablo, Rodri, De Guzmán, Riki, Adrián, Munúa, Andrade, Juan Rodríguez, Lopo, Arbeloa, Juanma, Estoyanoff, Verdú, Filipe and Iago

So, it's confirmed, the lineup will be like this:

Munúa
Manuel Pablo - Juanma - Andrade - Rodri
De Guzmán - Juan Rodríguez
Estoyanoff - Iago - Filpe
Adrián
