Default 29-04-2007 (La Liga) Racing 0v0 Deportivo (Post Match Comments)

It sounded like another dull game but a point in El Sardinero isn't bad at all considering their home form this year.

The real dissapointing result happened elsewhere as Villarreal jumped above us in the table because of their 2-0 win at Nastic. We stay in the same position though because of Espanol's loss.

I'm not too unhappy with the point today but the sooner we get someone who can create things and someone who can finish the chances off, the better.

I think the same, this draw against Racing is not a bad result.
And we still not losing in El Sardinero since 95/96.

Depor won't be able to get in front Villarreal, I'm sure of that. With Pires back, Villarreal looks a lot stronger. On top of that, they have a much easier schedule than Depor.

I hope I'm right about that extra Intertoto spot though... Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Depor refuse an Intertoto participation last year?

Not a bad result IMO. Racing is doing well at home and considering our away form, one point is good...

0-0 is better than I expected. We probably played very bad, as usual, but somehow, we always manage to avoid bad results. That's also an ability!

No, that's not it. I think we were also "offered" an extra Intertoto spot then, but refused it.

LOL! After next match without losing a goal Dudu's stastic (goals per match) looks now like that: 0,97 If we wouldn't lost 0:4 against Sevilla and Valencia he could be maybe the best one now...

Good result, and focusing on the next season is the most important thing.

Capa really needs to calm it a little with his current tactics, going gung-ho like this is making us very vulnerable

lol yea caabrego, to bet on depor for 0-0, 1-0 or 0-1 is like odds-less!

well i'm happy that our defensive line looks stable again after our injuried players came back however the offense is a joke really :/ imo we lack a playmaker most of all. i think it would be worth trying 4-4-2 and trying to get around on the sides with crosses for arizmendi and taborda.. looking at how players performed i think it might work. however i'm not a coach, got no education so i dont know whats best! It's just a thought that came to my mind since most of our goals are from free kicks or corners (almost always headers :P).. hehe

Im happy with the point, but our playing style is a disaster. I dont know how talented players like Riki, ariz, lolo, Cristian can not unlock a deffence.
