I see our chances in Europe difficult, but I will be pleased if we left Valencia out of the CL. Time to hunt some bats!

I think Valencia will do their normal trick against Depor and play with 4 central defenders and 2 fullback so I think Depor will have the ball alot and with good defensive line I'm sure we can prevent them from scoring and then we just need to have a little sharpness upfront in a single ocasion and it will be 1-0. Lets kick them out of the CL I rather see any of the other teams qualifying.

For me too. But not another 0:0. 3:3 would be nice

I think Valencia will go with an all out attack.

Another 0-0 would be fine.

Where's the ambition guys? I don't understand you can be happy with a draw before the game starts. If our players think the same, no wonder we're playing like crap right now. I always want the best result possible. Yes, a draw would be a good result, but a win would be a far better result. So let's kick those filthy bastards out of the CL-positions

Forza Depor!!

Forza Depor!!

You're getting confused between what people think and what people want.

To me, "a draw would be a good result" and "0-0 would be just fine" sound like what they want to happen. In other words, if that's what they want to happen, they seem to be thinking that we're gonna lose.

If the players ánd the fans start a game with that attitude, we are officially a pathetic bunch of losers imo.

That logic is extremely flawed, lol. What someone wants and what someone thinks are 2 completely different things.

To use your logic, if you were ever in a boxing ring with Mad Mike Tyson, would you think that lasting 6 rounds would be a good result? I think most of us would.

Under your theory though, you'd have to be thinking that you would kick his ass because anything less would mean you wanted to take a hammering.

Flawed logic and I reckon you realise it as well

Well, I think your example of Mike Tyson is completely flawed too Depor still has a good chance of beating Valencia, while Mike Tyson would probably ko any of us with only one hit

I know there is a difference between what you want and what you think. You wanna know what I think? I think we're gonna lose like 0-3 or something. I'm pretty sure almost everyone in the forum thinks the same way. However, nobody wants that of course. Everyone wants a better result. And logically, a draw is a better result than a loss. They were saying 0-0 is a good result, so to me they say they want it to be a draw. Well, I don't want a 0-0 but I want a win.

Besides, this was supposed to be a pep-talk dammit

Well there's nothing wrong with being positive but unfortunately, this season there seems to be a lot of differences between optimistic and realistic.

I think we all want a win, just as we'd all like Capa to become a tactical genius overnight and forget that Sevilla is in his heart but it's not looking too likely

Besides, your original argument would have held a bit more creditability if you hadn't predicted a 3-1 loss in the Bernabeu, when you made your Global Predictions

And I knooooooooooooow you don't want to see Real Madrid beat us.You just think they will (as do I)

Haha Well, I said that I THINK we're gonna lose, although I WANT us to win. In a prediction thread it's better to be realistic of course Besides, I predicted a 1-0 win over Valencia, if I'm not mistaking

In short, I'm both realistic and optmistic, all in one

I don't want 0:0! I want 3:0 for Valencia more! Take a look at us! Two years ago we never said 'I want 0:0'. We always wanted to win, to see great match. Let's destroy them or just lose...
