So to make this clear.. Is it definite that Lotina gets fired after this defeat? Adding my personal opinion here, Depor seems that needs a strong shock to get over this crisis. Therefore the relegation (which unfortunately comes closer and closer :/ ) should not be considered as such a bad possibility.

I'd blame Lendoiro more. Granted, Lotina isn't a good coach, but he also hasn't been given very good players to work with.

Yeah Lendoiro is to blame - I think he just wants to get out now - & does not or cant spend anymore money on signings..

But I feel we have some talented players - and another coach could have got more out of them.

Anyways, weve been talking about this situation for ages now - its time for a change - Lotina is not good enough - we have lost 11 games - conceded 32 goals & scored 19 - thats poor!

LOTINA has to go - we need someone to come in - who will motivate & get the best out of our players!

Quique Flores would be my choice at this moment in time..

if he doesnt get fired tonight, someone will burn down lendoiros house.

We cannot hire anyone who has coached a Primera team during this season.

Will an official announcement of Lotina's sacking reach the media today? If he's even getting sacked?

No, it's not definite until his departure is a fact. Lendoiro is supposed to have met his advisors before the Villarreal match and the 2-match deadline came up. When there's smoke, there's fire. Both matches were lost.

We can't change our squad of players or president during the winter, so the coach is always the first to go. With Depor's situation, and having followed football for 25 years (and Depor for 17), I'll give it a 99% that Lotina is fired the first time he speaks with Lendoiro (if that's tonight or tomorrow morning).

Lendoiro was asked about Lotina after the defeat, the president just asked for respect and said that he needs time to take any decision. He didn't say if the word 'decisions' means the change of the coach nor the arrival of signings.
