Default ex-Player topic: Andrés Guardado (Midfielder, now at CF Valencia)

Well, this guy has been linked with us. He is a Mexican offensive midfielder that can also perform as a left winger. He debuted in 2005 in first division, he called the attention of everybody when he played the WC although he was only 19. Now he is playing the copa America and supodsuly, PSV was after him, but it seems that we offered six million for him.

Insane. Don't believe it either, but if it's really a player of this ilk that we're looking for, we must have something going for us.

All the same, I hate the transfer season.

so we used most of Andrade's money to sign a 19 year old promise? Must be really good than, and possibly will be worth a lot more in years to come. How long is the contract (if any)?

We should wait, for the moment, all the agencies in Mexico are confirming the news.

I want to believe this but my cynical side is telling me not to get too excited until I see him with a Depor shirt at his presentaton.

If this is true, it could be the most positive thing we've seen in a long while.

Fingers crossed

The local radios in Mexico are also saying that's true
But Canaldeportivo nor the website of Atlas have spoken about it.

Does any of them have any quotes or any sources of this?

Even his Wiki page says he is close to us...

GODDAMN I hate the transfer season.

EDIT: Oooops, sorry master Rickard, forgot the Edit button for a moment of slight transfer induced craze.

The president of Atlas gave a press conferance 15 minutes ago, but I didn't hear it yet.

Really? And the Mexican press seems to think it's about this?

Wow...
