Default 23.09.07 Getafe 0:0 Deportivo (post-match)

1 point. And I think it is good result. We didn't play good, Getafe was better, but we have 1 away point. After that match I think we won't avoid relegation anymore. Now it's time to thin about something more (first half of the table)

btw - who was the best from our team?

Excellent result, I'm very satisfied, and Fabril won, so everything's great!

Now let's look forward to the game against Recre, cause it's a must win.

For me it was Aouate. He's an allround goalkeeper on who we can rely on.
The draw is a good result as we haven't been really offensive today.

We have the same amount of points as the 6th team has! Half of the table have 5 points but we're to poorest of that teams (the worst goal balance) but it is really good news!

To be honest I was dreaming about 3 points but I know that 1 point is also a good result, especially because Getafe were pushing.

More than anything, I'm very happy about another clean sheet. As much as I wan't to see us playing good football, having a working defense is crucial for our remainder in the Liga.

Just saw the result. Not bad, especially when looking at the standings now. We're even tied for a Uefa spot

the draw was fair for both teams. The match could go either way. There were only some minutes where Getafe were more dangerous. There was some panic in our area after Verdu gave the start to a series of dangerous attack (against us)

All players made a nearly equal match. the exception IMO was Verdu, it's his worst performance from the start of the season. Sergio was solid despite the match being very difficult for central midfielders. Lafita and Guardado were very active on the flanks.

The thing I can't understand is why change Manuel Pablo at the end of the match with Felipe who lacks minutes this season. There was constant pressure on the wings, so I consider it as a risk. Subbing Verdu would have been better.

Was there anyone who saw the game against betis who can actually confirm that Verdu was good in that game? Because when i saw the highlights he was only in 1 of them and he missed a clear opportunity (good running though). As much as i would want any depor player to flourish i just dont think he's going to be the one. I would much rather have seen 4-4-2 with adrian or bodipo from the start. At least in our home games we should show that we wan't to play a nice attacking football.

Well ofc it's nice to keep a clean sheet and all that, but we need to produce chances if any of our many attackers are going to score any goals!

And that's exactly why I prefer the 4-2-3-1 with a playmaker.

I'm always happy if we manage to get a point away from home, at least as long as we win the next home match against Recre. I was very worried about our defense at the start of the season and I'm glad to see that they seem to have become a lot more secure.

To anyone who saw the match: How is Riki doing as a lone striker?

It's a sad state of affairs when a point away to Getafe is looked on as a "good or even excellent result"...

Looking back at our glory days it's very sad, but it's the cold truth these days. Getafe aint a bad team though, even if they haven't started too well this season they have som quality.
