IMO Auate cost us the draw.

Why dose he keep chasing balls leaving player open on goal.

Not a surprice result, but a draw would have been nice.

Maybe it's time to change the keeper? It is not the first time...

Default La Liga 28-10-2007 Real Madrid 3v1 Deportivo (Post Match Comments)

We played really well for about 70-75 minutes and could and should have been in front as we looked really dangerous on occassions. However, in the end it was a bit of luck that put Real in front as the ball ricocheted off Rauls leg, wide to Van Nistelrooy, who drew Aouate out before squaring the ball for Raul.

Robinho's goal really flattered them I thought and we really deserved at least a point IMO.

Lots of good performances, especially in the first 70-75 but maybe we need to work on a bit of fitness because we looked like we ran out of steam in the end.

there is no justice in games like this...

even though it sounded like we played a good game, you always had the felling that some dumb mistake/referee mistake/ dumb luck were going to decide the match in real madrids favour. And so it did...

The result does NOT represent what this match really was like. At 1-1, it could've turned to both sides, and I even think we played better in that period. The red card and the goal got us down, but a goal to us would have changed that totally.

Our defense looked fantastic in the 1st half IMO. If they got past our midfield, we stopped them, and especially Manuel Pablo played amazing through the whole game. Aouate solid as always.
Sergio is way too slow, but he's not that bad really. De Guzman is very secure with the ball, and is making good tackles.

Guardado great as always, being dangerous and fast, but the penalty was his
fault. Verdú and JR were solid, although JR is lacking speed for a right wing. Xisco was great, but playing next to a dynamic and aggressive player like Bodipo next to him in the 2nd half, where he maybe is a little tired, would have been better.

Anyway, I'm optmistic, cause we are not supposed to compare our team to a team like Madrid's. Let's see how it goes against Mallorca.

I did'nt see the game, but sounded like he had several good actions as well?
My impression, primarily based on minute-by-minute threads and the news section, is that Auoate is a world class keeper, so even though we have a decent bench this might not be the solution...

Everybody say this for a long time (some matchdays before). It's high time to start winning! Now!

We need to react very fast. we need to start winning games. Otherwise, we will be in a huge trouble. I hate RM because they always win their matches by chance. Both Guti and Robinho made me feel sad today. We need to win like 3,4 matches in a row in order to recompense the two losses against Valencia and Rm.

Why? We're not as good as Real Madrid and Valencia, we're not supposed to compare us to them. It should be about avoiding relegation IMO - losing against Real Madrid and Valencia is no shame.

unlucky for us...everyone did well to me
a lucky break for raul..maybe a bit of nonsense from auote but still
right after another unlucky decision for sending off sergio. it all went down the hole from there

the play looks good tho...so just some more sharpness upfront and we're fine to avoid relegation and continue growing. im disappointed in guardado when i speak of sharpness upfront...he got a good ball from verdu and i was picturing one of those youtube shots we all viewed but we got a sky ball instead. once these are reduced we will start to win

My observations:

- We played well and quite easily could have won, however luck was on the side of the "men" in white.

- I think we have found our starting 11. It will be interesting to see if Lotina plays JR in Sergio's spot and starts Cristian. Will this be an improvement?

- Salgado is a piece of crap, cheating bastard.

- Guti.HAZ is the most annoying footballer on the planet!

- I hate Madrid.

- The rest of the season starts now!!! Lets put the past behind us and begin our ascent of the table. I think as a club, Depor should be comfortable enough with each other and Lotina's system to return to our winning ways and show the world our class.
