Default Liga 25-11-07 A.Bilbao 2v2 Deportivo (Post Match Comments)

What can I say??

We played really crap for the first time in about 10 games and found ourselves 2-0 down. Xisco went off in the first half and it wasn't until Riki came on for J.Rodriguez that we actually started to play a bit.

Riki then puled a goal back and we started playing some nice stuff but as the last minutes ticked away, we looked like we had lost our rhythm a bit but then with just over a minute left, up popped Taborda to get a head on Guardados cross from the right and we had the equaliser.

Given that we were down 2-0, I'm happy with this result but I was hoping we could win it before the game.

I'm also really happy for Miles who has seen us fail to score in about the last 4 games he has been to

It's obvious that good game and good result are 2 things irrelevant to each other for this Depor

This draw means a lot to the confidence of the team but, over 90 mins, we never should have allowed Bilbao two goals and with it a point.

We can't say this time that we were superior, but we gave away the always-important first goal as a birthday present.

Anyway, not allowing Bilbao 3 points means a lot too because they have a poor team which will be down in the list for a while.

Capa is more troubled than Lotina. Giving away a 2-0 lead hurts more than coming back from 2-0 down.

I'm pleased with the result. I think this ability to battle back from such a poor first half is a good sign. I'd really like to see Riki starting on the right.

A point is a point, but I'd like to see us win today. It seems Riki was the main guy who led us to a draw.

We still haven't won a single game for ages and we need some points badly...

I'm so happy, that's our lovely Depor, let's bring the good times back! From 0:2 to 2:2, that isn't very often thing in Depor matches, twice congrats, I'm as happy as we won because of that come back. As we say it in Poland - Depor came back from a long trip

Since the team proved so far that they could play quality football (at least better than the last years), it was time to show that they could compete and take points without quality football, so i think today's feeling is very positive.
We still have to find a balance between playing well and geting results

Happy to get the point, especially after being 2-0 down..

Also happy to see Riki & Taborba on the scoresheet..

I think Riki should play on the right from now on.....

Congratulations to the team for fighting back...
