Default LIGA: 09.12.2007 Barcelona - Deportivo (post match comments)

Barcelona 2 (Ronaldinho, Xavi)
Depor 1 (Cristian)

Well, what we were expecting, a new defeat
A nice game by Depor, sadly we won't live of good presentations, not with this situation.
Now we are 19th and I don't see the exit

I'm beginning to think the exit is the back door, unless something drastic happens...

Good game by our players! They did everything they could, but that wasn't enough. It's as simple as that. It was really nice to see that we could disturb Barca at Camp Nou though.. not many teams can.

This game shows that there is hope. Our defence was impressive, and against an attack that is not the best one in the world, which I believe Barca's just might be, they will do well next year.

Piscu is a hero! I'm really impressed.

The annoying thing is to lose to a crap penalty and a rubbish bit of defending.
Still It's not the Barca's of this world we have to beat but the teams at the bottom of the league.

We put a nice display at the Camp Nou, but unfortunately we go home empty-handed. From what ive seen, our game was pretty good, so theres a glimmer of hope... On the other hand, a quick glance at the table predict a worse future.

I hope we keep on playing like this, and actually accumulate some points. We played ok, but go home with another defeat, and that is pretty damn disappointing

A good match, but it won't help us.

They were better than us, and it was a matter of time when the goal would come. But we should have done better.
I really can't believe we didn't put more man up in front in the last 10 minutes. Taborda, Guardado, Lafita and Verdú were all put down behind, and when we tried to make a counter-attack, we didn't have any people. Horrible by Lotina.
The substitution, Sergio-Tomas, was also wrong IMO. Sergio slowed it down sometimes, and made stupid free kicks. If someone should've been put in at that time, then it should've been Lafita. And didn't we have Ruben left on the bench?

Gotta praise Colo, Piscu and Munua. Fantastic by them, and if we keep that standard, it can't go all wrong.

But I'll still be waiting till winter, and see some signings. A defensive and central midfielder and a right wing must be signed.

I really think MP played a good game as well, and even Felipe wasnt that bad either

We played good, but it wasn't enough for Camp Nou.

That's true. I'm really impressed by the way Manuel Pablo was participating up front. We should've had more of that.

Good display from defence, indeed. Particulary from M. Pablo & Piscu. Colo, as always, had his lapses of reason. His clumsy jump on Marquez in second half should have been penalty to be honest.

But once we get the ball to our feet good play suddenly stops. We are clueless! In number of occasions we looked like a english League One side with unprecise long balls to Xisco (who, by the way, was terrible as target man). Verdu was absolutely useless, I don't understand what was the purpouse of his presence on the pitch.
