Default LIGA | 15.03.08 | Deportivo - Real Madrid | 20:00 | Pre-Match

Real Madrid will have to do without in-form Robben for a month. He will miss the Deportivo match for sure.

This should be another stroll in the park against these muppets. Last year I felt our magnificent record against them would go because they'd just started to turn things around and we were going downhill but we still humped them. At home were on a roll and they are starting to look very beatable.

All this should get them to think that it is still impossible to beat Depor at Riazor... so we have a chance.

Every year there's a reason to think they'll break their curse, but for 16 years they haven't done it. Players like Casillas, Raul, Ronaldo, Zidane, Figo, Beckham, Van Nistelrooy, Robert Carlos etc. never did it.

They have a lot of potential every year, but Depor always seem to have reserved some extra magic against Real Madrid. I think it'll be a draw this time.

I know the curse of Madrid in the Riazor has to end one day but please, please God, don't let it be this year.

I'll be sat with Alan (a Madridiot fan) watching this game and I don't know if I could take his gloating if the worst happened. It was bad enough after watching the Fabril/Castilla game yesterday.

Real Madrid might be clear at the top of La Liga but I honestly don't think that they are that impressive. They've got a good team for sure but it's not great. To be fair to them, they're up there because they are the most consistant team but when you look at how they've been playing lately and how we've been playing lately, why should we fear them???

Robben has been one of their most creative players lately too and he won't play, which is obviously a bonus.

I just hope that we can stay clear or cards and injuries in next weeks match against Valencia, because they could be vital for our game with Madrid.

I think De Guzman and Guardado are both on 4 yellows, so let's hope neither picks one up in the Mestalla. (unless it's worth it )

I was thinking more along the lines of being 1-0 up in injury time and pulling someones shirt to break up a counter that could see us drop 2 points

Robben's injury is a blow, OK I admit it. But they're RM, the guy who'll replace him will be a quality player too.

RM's Riazor curse is a good thing for us, but we'll have to play hard if we're to get a point or the win against them. The curse alone is not enough.

Instead of Robben, I'm afraid of Robinho more. His speed and technique is very dangerous if you saw his performance including the game against us in Oct, 07.

Personally, I would take giving Marchena a wet willie for a yellow card anyday...

I'm really hoping there is something quite innocent which I don't know about that is called a "wet willie" (I don't want to imagine the literal sense)

Stick your finger in your mouth and get it dripping with your saliva... Then stick it in someone's ear... That's a "wet willie".

Perv!
