Default LIGA | 13.04.08 | Deportivo - Athlétic de Bilbao | 17:00 | Pre-match

Caparrós will return to Riazor next week. They're pretty good situated right now at 7 points of the relegation zone and even closer to UEFA Cup football (5 points). It will be an interesting match anyhow.

We're probably gonna need Taborda in the defense for this match.

Our "must win" games are over I think. With this form, I don't think we should worry about relegation. And with Sevilla's win yesterday, UEFA Cup spot is not quite achievable this year.

But why not win and send Capparros home sad ?

We’re now 13th in the table and actually share 12th spot with Getafe. If we win against Bilbao, and that’s very much possible, we take their 8th spot and depend on the results of Almeria, Betis, Mallorca and Getafe.
- Almeria will catch us if they take at least one point at home against Villarreal
- Betis will catch us if they win at home against Levante
- Mallorca need to beat Sevilla on the island
- Getafe need to beat Zaragoza.

So, if we win against Bilbao we won’t only catch them but also could pass by 1-4 other teams. If the results favour us, anything could become possible if we win.

With the way we played last week, I'm very confident we can get the win here. As long as we play as we have and Xisco keeps his coring run alive, we'll be in good shape to take the 3 points here.

Better change it to "Xisco keeps that bandage on his head"

Nope, no suspensions (Manuel Pablo is close to a suspension with 4 cards). Lopo returns from a suspension and we might see Willy return.
