Default LIGA | 03.05.08 | Zaragoza 1 - Deportivo 0 | Post Match

Unless you're really unrealistic and biased, you'd have to admit that we didn't really deserve a point today because Zaragoza dominated for large spells and missed a hatload of chances. Oliveira in particular missed a few.

However, to lose a game in the 94th minute which was practically the last kick of the game, is a real gutter.

Aouate is excellent at shop stopping and proved it with a couple of absolutely brilliant saves but he must be a vampire cos he hates crosses.
The goal when it finally came was IMO his responsibility as he totally flapped and missed at the freekick.

Let's not get too dispondant though. It wasn't a good performance for sure but not everyone will play like Zaragoza had to.

We're still on for an Intertoto.

It's unfair to blame Aouate! He saved us many times during the game, and truth to be told we did not deserve a single point out there tonight. It was a performance without motivation.

I'm not disappointed that we didn't win. I'm just disappointed and ****ing angry, that we have such a joke for a goalkeeper. Any amateur could do better. Holy crap. God I'm pissed.

What the hell Ruben is still doing in La Coruña is beyond me. I've never liked him, and this game proves it again. If he would just made that easy pass to Cristian, we could've won this game, but he preferred to screw it up by being selfish.

Aouate didn't have a bad game, but he's so friggin' horrible on high balls. I would've been happy with a point, but now we end up with nothing so Espanyol gets the chance to pass us tomorrow.

Great I hope I never see Ruben in a Depor shirt again tbh.

Maybe not a bad game, but being so damn unsecure on every high ball and only one good save throughout the game is definitely below average. I prefer Munua.

Hell no. What does everyone here expect Riki to do? He did make a few good passes in the first half, and he did a lot more than Willy today. The entire defense was constantly all over him.

I agree, Colo totally got in the way. I'm not too pissed about the loss. It would have been nice to get the point, but given the amount of chances they had and a shit load of luck we had, a point would have been undeserved.
I will say that it was quite remarkable that we managed to play clean around our box. By my count they only had about 3 set pieces outside our area. Given the amount of time we spent in defense, I'd say that is is pretty goddamn good!

It was a pretty awful mistake and unfortunately he is rather suspect on high balls. But he did saves us a couple of times and we didn't do anything in the game to deserve a point.
Still it was a bloody awful mistake!!!
