Default Liga | 11.05.08 | Atletico - Deportivo | 21:00 (pre-match)

The game has been sheduled for Sunday 21:00 - all the games gonna be played at the same time. We play at Vicente Calderon and it could be decisive match for our future - win here could secure our Intertoto spot, but firstly we need to know Wednesday's scores.

Forza Depor!

If we win against Levante, then I personally think we can even lose the last two games to secure our Intertoto spot. I don't see Espanyol getting more than 1/6 against Villarreal and Leti. Which only leaves Bilbao. If we see them lose once, it's over for them too.

Anyway, if we win against Levante, then this game doesn't really matter much. Anything we get here (which will be very, very hard), will be a bonus.

The match is very important as there will be away support

Can't wait as Atletico B play Fabril on the same weekend.

You said it, until tonight I had no idea that fabril were in Madrid that weekend.

I was looking for a match to watch on the Saturday and there was none. So Miles sugested Rayo but alas they are also away, but what was at the bottom of the list. Atletico v Fabril

There should be loads of pictures and hopefully from both matches. Unfortunatly no SLR this time. Do not want to travel around Madrid underground with a expensive camera.

So I will take the semi SLR should get some nice pictures.

If we win this one, I see us getting into the UEFA Cup by 6th spot (see UEFA Cup topic). A point at Zaragoza wouldn't have helped in this aspect, so that's a relief after our 94th minute loss..

So we have two targets here: to win and to fight for 6th spot, or to draw and to almost guarantee Intertoto football.

So will I.

Personlay I would be happy with one point but would love the 3 points. My tickets is just behind the Depor bench. So may give them a heart attack with my celebration and then get battered by the Atletico fans beside me

Since Atletico promotion in 02/03 these are the results.

06/07 Atletico Win 2-0
05/06 Atletico Win 3-2
04/05 Depor Win 2-1
03/04 Copa Draw 0-0
03/04 Draw 0-0
02/03 Atletico Win 3-1

1 win 3 losses and 2 draws (one being a copa match)

Martin, I distinctly remember Depor losing 3-2 at Calderon, one or two years ago...

Correct, sorry for the typo

The match will be on Canal+ on Sunday

Which means that Real will probably be moved to 7pm

There should be a stream on the net for our match.
