An expected loss, but the shot on the post from Colo, made it bitter.

We can however decide our European participation next year in the next match against Villarreal, where a draw will be enough to keep Caparros' men away. That's the good news.

How can you make a thread like this without writing the result?

Aouate didn't look really good in the play of Atletico's goal. Like the Belgian commentator said: "it may have been a bit unlucky for Aouate, but really good goal keepers force the luck".

That stupid goal in Zaragoza turns out to be important after all. If it didn't happen, we would be in Europe already right now.

Anyway, seeing both Bilbao winning and Depor losing next week, is very unlikely imo. Bilbao will be missing Yeste next week, as he somehow managed to get a red card AFTER the final whistle

Bla bla bla.

We won 7 (or was it 6?) games in a row at home, and Villarreal has nothing to play for. Yeah they beated Espanyol 2-0, but that's hardly impressive as even Levante could've done the same.

I think Lotina should be blamed for the defeat, Ok, he was playing with JR and defending the result, fine, but after the goal, why he waited until the end to put the 'arsenal' in? I mean, a 0-2 or 0-3 would be the same that the 0-1, why why to keep playing the same and wait until the final minutes to try to score goals? we criticise Taborda (maybe for good reasons) but the man can't do miracles in five minutes. Besides, Depor was more dangerous when Lafita and Riki came in, and that only happended until minute 70.

OK, Lotina found the solutuon and he saved us from relegation, but this kind of things is what upset me about his attitude. We could won this game! all we needed is a more open mind

Lotina almost always waits this long to make his first subs. It annoys me too, but I guess there's nothing we can do about it.

Seems depor is out of form again, bad game against zaragoza, same against levante and now not so good against atletico either. I hope we can snatch a point against villareal, but i doubt it with their and our current from taken into account.

I think you guys are wrong with the "lotina always does late subs" claim, the games i've seen on tv (yes, its not been that many) he has made the subs pretty early! I havent done any research though so might be true for the main part of the games, but "always" is a strong word.. I agree he should've made subs earlier this game ofc.
