Default Uefa Cup| SK Brann 2v0 Deportivo | 18-09-2008 | Post Match comments

after todays defeat from a rival that said to have low Quality players , who proved the opposite and defeat a team with known qualities around the world

alot disagreed with lotina's rotation plan and resting some players (filipe, mista)

and using a line of 5 defedners who couldn't secure their area from 2 goals scored bY Brann

after this defeat dEPOR'S chance has gone with the Wind !!

a Might happen chance or I may refer to it as Luck is scoring 2 goals in the home game and securing the goal

Come on, where's the faith ? If they can score 2 goals, why can't we do the same ?

If you didn't know, this is played over two legs. I'm a pessimist as well when it comes to this, but this is ridiculous. Close the thread.

why close? we always have post-comments, also after bad games...

That said: i was looking where i wrote it in discussion with ?? (Rik or Carlos perhaps) : Lotino costs us again, cause of ridiculous line-ups against Villareal and today again.
It's better to play full force and put the game away in 45 minutes, then rest some players, instead of doing what he's doing and having to run for your life on at least 180 minutes!

I edited the title of the thread for the post match comments. It was once titled ''Goodbye Uefa''.

This is definitely a disappointing result and puts us in an anxious position. The result at the moment does mean we're heading out of europe: FACT. We have to produce the sort of performance on the same level as when we beat AC Milan in the champions League some years ago to have a chnace of going through.

I'm personally quite pessimistic.

The play in which Guardado got the yellow card, summarizes the picture of the game. We were lost and pathetic...

OK, if it became post-match thread...

It was horrible display. Brann completely deleted us, we didn't have at least one clear chance. I can't judge Bravo, as he didn't get many balls, but Bodipo proved to be as poor as he used to be last season. Sometimes I was even wondering who is he playing for. Three balls that he got in penalty area were all send back, heading for our goal, not their. WTF is wrong? Doesn't he know which goal was the opponent one?

Guardado was useless, Lafita unnoticeable, Colotto...who? Is he the one we fought for for such a long time? Laure tried a lot and I would rate him along with Valeron as the best ones if I can say there were some good players in our team.

Anyway, always look on the bright side of life - we still have a second game ahead to be played at Riazor and I believe fans will know what to do. 0:2 isn't the worst score we could imagine so I believe we can come back. Hey, stronger teams than Brann, had lost at Riazor, why not do it again?

Forza Depor!

..because I don't see this Deportivo scoring twice against Brann PLUS keeping a clean sheet 'only' to secure extra-time.
