Default La Liga | Deportivo 0v0 Mallorca | 21-09-2008 | Post Match Comments

Depor had a few chances in the first half to be in front but Aranzubia also made a few good saves during the game. The game might have lacked goals but it certainly didn't lack cards with 10 yellow cards being shown and 2 red cards.

Depor were reduced to 10 men first after Omar Bravo was sent off after 59 mins because of some kind of incident with Nunes, who was given a yellow card for his part. Mallorca were also reduced to 10 men when David Navarro was given a second yellow card after 77 mins.

Disappointing not to take more than a point but I guess after the way we defended in midweek against Brann, the clean sheet was a definate positive.

Disappointing due to the fact that we missed these chances. We're definitely missing some sharpness up in front, but positive that we controlled things in the 1st half.

I'm disappointed with this result. We had more chances than them and we deserved to score a goal. Referee probably has just escaped from circus...not a good score considering that we play now in Pamplona and Valencia...

I think we'll have missed the start to the new season completely, seeing we have two hard away games coming up. An elimination in the UEFA (which is very likely), would turn everything into a complete disaster. Very disappointing.

I think the Bravo incident was a desicive factor. We had the control of the game, it was very likely to score a goal till the end of the game, but after losing our only striker, things were difficult.

Anyone knows, why Bravo got the red card?

I said it before

even though Bravo made a good job during the minutes he played

playing him this function is wrong ....Lotina him self said that when Bravo first came to depor Yet he played with him in the function he don't belong to !?

i No more understand Lotina

instead of sending a striker with P maker why not 2 strikers !! especially taking in mind that the game played in the Riazor

Bravo should stop playing as a starter, seriously. Nice thing he won't be playing next game though.

no, he should have got rid of Bopido long time ago, and keep Taborda in the squad.
